On this site you will find information about my professional background generally in civil and structural engineering. This includes my past and recent experiences throughout my employment in the power generation and transmission firm in the Philippines and currently, in a power transmission design consultancy in Australia. I have been mostly involved in the design preparation and tendering for various projects in Overhead Transmission Lines and Substations from site development to detailed structural design using licensed engineering software package and computerized design platforms. It is also viewed on this site my resume which outlines my experiences in the Philippines, Australia and Overseas. With my most recent employment in O’Donnell Griffin, this organization provides project solutions on engineering and design for specific industry sectors locally and overseas. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Directs, plans and supervises the execution of activity work steps, using the allotted resources;
  • Takes parts in the detailed planning of the engineering design work of the project;
  • Checks activity work results and records important information and development of activity;
  • Introduces new methods and process resource individuals to reduce inputs, time and costs;
  • Review the final design and layout of structures and equipment/ facilities that comprise a complete power/transmission development project;
  • Defines and establishes guidelines for design criteria and undertakes the analysis, planning designing of all power/ transmission development projects;
  • Reviews, evaluates and checks plans, documents and specifications submitted/proposed by contractors and/or consultants;
  • Reviews, studies and recommends solutions to engineering design problems and related activities referred to him by subordinate engineers;
  • Coordinates with Principal B Engineers in other discipline involved in the projects for the preparation of overall designs, plans, construction drawings and plant layouts;
  • Prepares memoranda, executive briefs and reports;
  • Conducts, whenever necessary field inspection of power transmission and substation, construction in progress and proposed project sites. Conducts performance and model tests;
  • Conducts continuous research to keep abreast with the recent technological developments; and
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned

  • Prepares and checks design calculation bid/construction drawings, technical specifications and quantity estimates for a proposed project;

  • Conducts field inspection/coordination meeting at project and/or plant sites, RE design and remedial measures;
